Winchester’s kids on the MEND
Winchester City Council’s River Park Leisure Centre is now recruiting families for its free Summer programme, MEND.
MEND, which stands for Mind, Exercise, Nutrition…Do it, is designed for children to become more healthy for the long term.
The programme consists of 18 sessions in 10 weeks including nutrition meetings and fun swimming sessions.
There are no costs in attending the programme but your child will need to be assesed for age, weight and health to see if they qualify for help.

What’sthe story? This is basically just a free advertisement. People won’t pay to read adverts. The problem with your journalism is that you don’t seem to entirely grasp the difference between PR on the one hand, and journalism on the other. But it is reasonably well written I suppose. Try a bit of attack journalism in the style of say Emile Zola (look it up). Most people on this course wouldn’t know the difference between Gianfranco Zola and Emile Zola. But all of that is gonna change now that I am here!
